Senior Vice President GARY KEIMACH has been inducted as a new Keeper of the Quaich – the exclusive Scotch Whisky society. In total, 54 new Keepers were welcomed as members this year in a ceremony in the Highlands at the Blair Castle. The Society was founded to represent the Scotch Whisky industry worldwide and promotes the goodwill of the industry and honors those who have made a significant contribution to it. Keepers of the Quaich have served the industry for a minimum of 5 years. There are currently 2228 Keepers and 16O Masters worldwide. The Society takes its name from the two-handled drinking bowl which is described in Scottish Gaelic as a “Cuach” or Quaich – a vessel long associated with the drinking of Scotch.
