OBITUARY: LOUIS A. FERREIRA 88

Longtime Horizon Beverage employee Louis A. Ferreira passed away January 29 at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home.  A member of the United States Army from 1943 to 1946, he served overseas in Germany and Central Europe.  Upon his return he studied accounting at American International College – the foundation of his career in finances and management – having worked for over 33 years for both McKesson Distribution and Horizon Beverage (Premium Beverage).  In May of 1984 he opened the Western Massachusetts Division as General Manager.  Louie loved music, singing karaoke and spending time with his family.
