WILL DRAFTMARK HIT THE MARK?
They may not be the first to market but Anheuser-Busch is hoping they’ll
be the most successful. The brewer has unveiled its latest innovation –
a new home draft system called Draftmark. The product is similar to one
introduced two years ago by MillerCoors. Anheuser-Busch’s version of
the product arrived in select retail locations in St. Louis during
December. It is expected to become more widely available in the city and
surrounding areas in February. The Draftmark tap system is described as
an “intuitive, high-end device that fits neatly into refrigerator
shelves”. In 2OO9, MillerCoors unveiled a 1.5-gallon home draft system
for Miller Lite and Coors Light, its top-selling brands. The product is
designed stays fresh for up to 3O days after it is first tapped,
according to MillerCoors.
