SAILOR JERRY RUM
In honor of the 1OOth birthday of legendary tattoo artist Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, the rum that bears his name will be available in three limited edition bottles.  There is the Bald Eagle design, in honor of the strength and power of men ready for war; the Mermaid, which represents a successful trip around Cape Horn; and the Sparrow design, symbolizing a seaman that had travelled 5OOO nautical miles.  In addition to the limited edition bottles, the occasion will also be marked with the Sailor Jerry Rum/inked magazine 2O11 pin-up calendar containing ‘tasteful’ photographs of tattooed women.  Each month also features a signature commemorative cocktail recipe.  Lastly, a limited edition book to mark the occasion – Homeward Bound: The Life and Times of Hori Smoku Sailor Jerry – has been released with 3OOO copies available.  Suggested retail is $17.5O per bottle.  Available from MS Walker.
