BREW @ THE ZOO

The first annual BREW @ THE ZOO will be held at the Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday, OCTOBER 2 from 5 to 9pm.  Brew @ the Zoo is a “beer tasting” event featuring stations hosted by local restaurants, caterers and breweries – as well as an opportunity to stroll among the animals in the signature Tropical Forest, which is home to gorillas, lemurs and many other species.  Participating breweries include Blue Hills Brewery, Cape Ann Brewing Co., Mayflower Brewing Company, Narragansett Beer Company, Peak Organic Brewing Company, and Watch City Brewing Co.  There will also be the opportunity to sample wine.  Proceeds from Brew @ the Zoo will support the operation and continued growth of Franklin Park Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.  Tickets cost $5O.
