THE GLENROTHES VINTAGE 1998 
This new release is the latest single malt expression from the award-winning Speyside Scotch Whisky distillery.  It is also the first offering from Malt Master Gordon Motion, who recently assumed the role after John Ramsay retired after nearly 2O years in the position.  The Vintage 1998 has tropical fruits with sweet vanilla and hints of cinnamon.  The soft, mature palate exudes citrus notes with a rich bouquet of golden syrup and lemongrass.  The lingering finish is smooth and rounded with an emphasis on rich vanilla.  The bottle features hand-written tasting notes on the label.  Suggested retail is $54.99.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company and MS Walker.
