National Award goes to NBWA WEBSITE

The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) website, nbwa.org, has been named the winning site in PR News’ Nonprofit PR Awards competition. The honor was presented at the National Press Club in Washington, DC in November. The site was re-launched in 2OO8 and is a powerful communications, educational and marketing tool. Laid out on a beer background and with images of the beer distribution industry, the site highlights the effectiveness of today’s state-based alcohol regulation system and the contributions America’s 285O licensed, independent beer distributors make across the country. The site offers a wide range of content including high-energy educational videos demonstrating what a beer distributor does each day; colorful photographs showing inside a beer distribution warehouse; public service announcements that fight underage drinking and drunk driving; a daily news scroll; social media links; services for America’s beer distributors; and “cooking with beer” recipes.
