HARPOON LEVIATHAN SERIES

The first beer in a series from a limited edition line of specialty big beers, Leviathan Triticus, is now available on draft.  Latin for “wheat”, Triticus is a strong and dark wine-style ale that is 14.3% ABV.  A blend of 5O% wheat malts, including caramel and chocolate, provides it’s color and depth of flavor.  The second in the series, the Leviathan Imperial IPA, has a pungent, piney and tropical fruit aroma followed by hop bitterness up front and an aggressive hop flavor and character throughout.  It finishes with lingering bitterness and hop presence.  Leviathan beers will be brewed in 12O-barrel batches and will be available in 4-packs and on draft, excluding the Triticus which will be available on draft only.  Retail for the 4-packs is $9.99.
