NANTUCKET WINE FESTIVAL

The 15th annual festival will take place May 18 to 22.  Highlights of the festival include: The Grand Tasting May 21 and 22 at the Nantucket Yacht Club featuring over 165 wineries; the Harbor Gala held at the White Elephant Hotel on Thursday, May 19; Wine & Food Seminars; Great Wines in Grand Houses Tastings; Luncheon Symposia; Celebrity Chef & Winemaker Auction Dinner on May 21 and more.  The Grand Tastings help to support Nantucket Combined Charities, Inc. and the Winemaker Auction benefits the Nantucket Historical Association.  Additionally, the Festival will feature the Luminary of the Year award which recognizes an individual whose work has had a profound effect upon the landscape of wine and food.  The 4th annual winner is Tim Mondavi, who is not only a member of a famous wine family but has carved his own path at Continuum Estate.  He and his daughter Carissa represent four generations of commitment to quality.  For more information visit nantucketwinefestival.com or call 5O8.228.1128.
