HEINEKEN

JOHN NICOLSON is set to replace MASSIMO VON MUNSTER as Heineken Americas President as of October 1.  Nicolson was formerly Managing Director for Eastern Europe, Asia and the U.S. for Scottish & Newcastle, which was bought by Heineken and Carlsberg earlier this year.  Massimo von Munster had decided to leave Heineken and return to his native Italy, after three years in the job.
FILIP WOUTERS was appointed as Vice President of Marketing for the company’s flagship Heineken brand equity, which includes Heineken Lager and Heineken Premium Light.  His appointment will be effective November 1.  He will lead the Heineken’s efforts to further develop, enhance and implement growth strategies, positioning and integrated marketing plans in the United States.  Wouters brings to the position and the company more than 13 years of experience managing dozens of beer brands around the world from positions held in North America, Latin America and Europe.  He joins Heineken USA from the Heineken Caribbean and Central American operating company.
