JAMES BEARD AWARDS

On the first and third of May Pernod Ricard USA participated in the James Beard Media Awards and the James Beard Awards Gala in New York City. The James Beard Media Awards hosts 3OO of the best food/beverage writers and broadcasters from the top media outlets across the country and awards are given out that night for excellence in food/beverage journalism. Pernod Ricard USA was the exclusive wine and spirits sponsor of the event providing Beefeater 24 and Lemonhart Rum cocktails made by prominent mixologists Audrey Saunders of Pegu Club in NYC and Misty Kalkofen of Drink in Boston. Pernod Ricard wines were paired with each course of the tasting menu.

The James Beard Awards Gala hosted 12OO of the top food/beverage professionals. After the awards ceremony guests were welcome to enjoy a walk around tasting of food and drink made by the nation’s best chefs and mixologists. Plymouth Gin was the sponsor of Audrey Saunders’ bar which featured a Fifty-Fifty cocktail and her signature French Pearl.
